This is me. This is how I get my workouts in.

My boys were out at swimming so in between vacuuming / laundry / dishes / writing an article, I decided to just grab a bell and GO!

Somebody commented the other day that I was – unusually – not head to toe in Sweaty Betty. Well, truth is folks, sometimes the standards slip MUCH lower. Ha!

Anyway, this 12kg kettlebell workout consisted very simply of doing 10R/10L, then 8/8 etc all the way down to just 2 reps each side of:

– Racked one hand squat
– Transverse suitcase lunge
– Single leg Deadlift.

I love asymmetric work, especially for women at any stage postnatally. It replicates real mum-life: Carrying baby / toddler, carting around toys / bikes / pushchair, lugging stuff in and out of the car. Basically living life one-handed!

Please excuse the greasy hair (I washed it after the workout), but at least the pyjamas are half decent.
