Meet the Team

Amber (Director)

Amber Bryan - Personal TrainerI am a fully qualified and insured Personal Fitness Coach based in Cambridge. I have been working in the Fitness Industry since 2008 when I set up lovefit Training, having decided to leave my Investment Banking career in order to start helping others to achieve their fitness goals.

I have full Public Liability and Indemnity insurance, as well as First Aid training. My fitness qualifications include Level 2 Exercise to Music (YMCA), Level 3 Personal Training and Weight Management (Premier Training International) and Level 3 Pre and Postnatal Exercise Prescription (Premier Training International). I have also attended workshops held by Burrell Education, the cutting edge pregnancy and post-natal exercise training provider, and trained with the UK’s leading Personal Trainer, Dax Moy (Kinetic Chain Assessment and Elimination Diet Coach courses).  I am one of the first fitness professionals in the UK to become a Hypopresive Technique trainer (see “Services” page for more info).

My passion for sport began at an early age when I trained in various forms of dance at the Tiffany Stage Academy in Essex. During my teens I competed at county level athletics and netball as well as being a keen horse-rider.

In 2003, I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Modern Languages. This lead to a job in London with a top investment bank, but I knew it wasn’t the career I’d always wanted. Despite the long hours and commute, I trained regularly in the corporate gym and when I got a personal trainer that was my inspiration to leave the city and start a career in the fitness industry. So in 2008 lovefitTraining was born.

Since starting up lovefit Training I have worked with pregnant women, new mums, cancer recoverers, and people suffering from arthritis, diabetes, lupus, chronic lower back pain, IBS to name but a few!

Outside of my work I enjoy long walks with my two dogs, hiking / hill-walking, cycling and occasionally dabbling in surfing and snowboarding. In 2010 I cycled from John O’Groats to Lands End, and I’m hoping to take myself up Kilimanjaro in the not-too-distant future.

My drive, dedication and positive attitude will ensure that you get the results you want.

BettinaBettina Tong (Admin and bootcamp)

Hi! I’m Bettina, the Administrator for Lovefit Training. This role combines my love of fitness with my fundraising and administrative background. Before joining Lovefit Training, I was Fundraising Coordinator for an Australian charity where I managed their marketing campaigns and large donor portfolio.

I’m Australian (don’t hold it against me!) and moved to Cambridge with my family, from Sydney, Australia, in 2012 as my husband is completing a PhD. My university studies were completed in Australia; I hold a Bachelor of Social Science and a Masters of Development Studies. Although I miss family, the hot weather and beaches, we love our home here in Cambridge. I have 2 children who keep me busy (a daughter who is nearly 3, and a son who is nearly 1) so I need to stay fit to keep up with them! Being a mum reminds me that I need to model a healthy lifestyle, which means good exercise routines combined with healthy eating patterns.

Some of the things I enjoy are: exercising outside, Pilates, Body Combat and boxing, and I recently discovered a new found love for spin classes. Apart from exercise, I love travelling and exploring the United Kingdom and Europe as it’s all so close! I love catching up with friends and having some good British/Australian banter, so please come and chat with me when I meet you at one of the Lovefit Bootcamps or on social media.
