About Me

Amber (Director)

Amber Bryan - Personal TrainerI am a fully qualified and insured Personal Fitness Coach based in Cambridge. I have been working in the Fitness Industry since 2008 when I set up lovefit Training, having decided to leave my Investment Banking career in order to start helping others to achieve their fitness goals.

I have full Public Liability and Indemnity insurance, as well as First Aid training. My fitness qualifications include Level 2 Exercise to Music (YMCA), Level 3 Personal Training and Weight Management (Premier Training International) and Level 3 Pre and Postnatal Exercise Prescription (Premier Training International). I have also attended workshops held by Burrell Education, the cutting edge pregnancy and post-natal exercise training provider, and trained with the UK’s leading Personal Trainer, Dax Moy (Kinetic Chain Assessment and Elimination Diet Coach courses).  I am one of the first fitness professionals in the UK to become a Hypopresive Technique trainer (see “Services” page for more info).

My passion for sport began at an early age when I trained in various forms of dance at the Tiffany Stage Academy in Essex. During my teens I competed at county level athletics and netball as well as being a keen horse-rider.

In 2003, I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Modern Languages. This lead to a job in London with a top investment bank, but I knew it wasn’t the career I’d always wanted. Despite the long hours and commute, I trained regularly in the corporate gym and when I got a personal trainer that was my inspiration to leave the city and start a career in the fitness industry. So in 2008 lovefitTraining was born.

Since starting up lovefit Training I have worked with pregnant women, new mums, cancer recoverers, and people suffering from arthritis, diabetes, lupus, chronic lower back pain, IBS to name but a few!

Outside of my work I enjoy long walks with my two dogs, hiking / hill-walking, cycling and occasionally dabbling in surfing and snowboarding. In 2010 I cycled from John O’Groats to Lands End, and I’m hoping to take myself up Kilimanjaro in the not-too-distant future.

My drive, dedication and positive attitude will ensure that you get the results you want.
