Lovefit “WOW” (formerly “Bootcamp’)

 

Our WOW sessions (Women’s Outdoor Workouts) are a fun, group session based on Metabolic conditioning and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training).  Don’t let those terms put you off!  MetCon is the fastest way to burn fat, keep you entertained and change the shape of your body.  Combined with our comprehensive nutrition advice as well as the ongoing support provided on our Facebook Group (secret group, members only) and your copy of the “Cleanse” guide, you will be on track to reach your fitness goals in no time!

The classes (formerly known as Bootcamps) were rebranded in September 2017 to better describe what these sessions are all about. This video explains a little more about the changes, and what we do for women.

Note:  This is NOT a military style session (hence the move away from calling it bootcamp).  There’s no yelling and pushing you until you throw up (or injure yourself), rather the sessions work on supporting you to be the best you can be and help you get stronger and fitter over the weeks. You can also bring your baby, toddler or older child (if they’re off during school holidays) to watch you while you work out.

Sounds good, right?  It is!

If you’re still unsure, it’s probably because you’re wondering “Will I be out of my depth?” or “Am I too unfit?” The answer is “no” – not at all! We cater to all levels and can help you reach whatever goals you have. If you are completely new to exercise then we recommend joining at the start of the month when we focus more on technique, and when other new members are likely to be starting out too. However, it’s absolutely fine to join at any point. Remember we all have to start somewhere, and if you’re concerned about your fitness levels then we can absolutely help you to change that 🙂

FROM JULY I AM MOVING AWAY FROM BLOCKS, AND ONTO A NEW ONLINE PAYMENT SYSTEM AND WEBSITE.

All bookings can now be made and managed via a membership site HERE. You will book into classes online, and will be able to set up direct debits for ease, or can buy class packs if that’s your preference.
While the finishing touches are made to my new website, you can access booking, schedule and payment for all Lovefit classes at the above link. If you are new to Lovefit, or haven’t attended recently, you’ll need to create an account, and answer some health screening questions before you can make a purchase.

Classes will be running as normal over summer.

 

LOCATIONS:

Vinery Road Park  (Free parking on Vinery Road).
Morning sessions – meet by the basketball court.

Waterbeach Recreation ground  (Free car park at the Cambridge Road entrance).
Evening sessions – meet by playground. (NB: If parking in the car park, you’ll have to walk down the path alongside the tennis courts to get to our meeting point. Unfortunately that section of the path is not very well lit, so take care during the winter months. You’ll find us under the street light, by the playground, on the north side of the rec).

 

How do I sign up?

All class bookings and memberships are now managed via our online system HERE.  All screening forms and waivers will be completed through that link.

If you are looking for personal 1-1 fitness coaching (available at my Waterbeach studio only), then you would need to complete your PARQ screening form separately (see below) and email to me at info@lovefittraining.co.uk.

Some of these questions might not seem relevant if your baby is no longer a newborn, but it’s important for me to screen deeply, and properly assess everyone who has had a baby.

 

What are the benefits of signing up?

Commitment and results!  By signing up you are far more likely to try and attend all your sessions, thereby yielding better results more quickly.

– Invitation to quarterly socials (post workout coffee or evening drinks) – drinks on me 🙂

– Access to Secret Facebook support group where you will be able to get extra support from other Bootcamp members, ask nutrition advice, and be kept up to date with Bootcamp related goings-on! I am also happy to post up the workouts each week, in case you miss a session and fancy catching up at home.

General Info

Everyone welcome!

Please bring water, and an old towel / mat if you want to protect yourself from mud!

Babies, toddlers and children are welcome at all sessions, so need to worry about childcare.

Sessions go ahead in ALL weather.  If it’s raining, we’re training!  The only exception could be in the event of heavy snow or gales.
