Last week I lost my voice.  I mean completely lost it, much to my husband’s pleasant surprise, no doubt!

We all have our achilles heel; that troubling sign that something is not right with the body.  For me, it’s my throat.  I lose my voice usually around once a year (a curse of my job and wretched hay fever), but whenever I get a little run down I feel it there first.  I had my tonsils out when I was little so it’s nowt to do with that, and probably everything to do with talking too much!

But’s it’s also the first sign of being a wee bit run down, which is a warning light to SLOW THINGS DOWN!

So, with that in mind, I am taking full advantage of the long weekend and will be offline until next Tuesday:  No blogging, no emails, and all my Facebook / Twitter posts have been queued up ready to go out automatically. Marvellous.

And in keeping with slowing things down a bit, I wanted to share this (literally) hot tip with you. I am guilty of forgetting that a lot of my readers are not local to me. In fact a fair chunk of you are abroad, let along outside of Cambridge. But for today, here’s a suggestion for the Londoners amongst you:

Fierce Grace Yoga (Primrose Hill)

One of my bootcampers went yesterday and was very impressed, not least because Helena Bonham-Carter was heading into the session afterwards!  Plus I love their marketing – genius!  So if you are in London, or simply visiting, this is the place to go and wind down.  Not a massive packed class, not too slow (for those who find yoga “boring”) and suitable for anyone with a decent level of fitness.  You don’t need to be a yoga expert.

One final thing before I sign off for the bank holiday weekend…  What’s troubling YOU?

I have several blog posts in the pipeline, but what I’d really like to write about is what you’d really like to hear about!  So if there’s something troubling you, really niggling away in the back of your mind, then why not drop a comment below, or email me on info@lovefittraining.co.uk?  Chances are if you have a burning question, somebody else has the same one.  So after Easter I’ll try and cover as many of the popular topics as I can manage.  Deal?

Right, I’m off to drop hints about Easter gifts.  I hear there is a new hazelnut Lindt bunny…
