June 30th is always a time of reflection for me.

Partly it’s because it’s my wedding anniversary, and I love thinking back to that day and how many smiles were shared.  We had a salsa band complete with sparkly-silver-shirt-wearing instructor and everyone got involved; dancing the night away.  I even got accused of the dance lesson being a sneaky workout!

June 30th is also an important business day for me, and I think it can be crucial for all of you too. Nowadays I try not to spend too much time dwelling on the past nor anticipating the future.  It’s not very mindful, and I try to remain in the present.  But today marks the midway point of 2015 and it’s a day when I look back over the first half of the year and forward towards the second half.

In many ways I think that goal-setting can be a bit destructive for some people.  There’s always the fear of failing (see my previous blog about failing).  In other ways, however, taking stock of your goals – even simply reflecting on how the year has been shaping up so far – can help you to take action as we move into the second half of 2015.

My year has been somewhat different from previous ones, what with the birth of my baby – Milo – in April.  The past three months have been a bit of a whirlwind, and as I prepare to return more fully to work, now is the perfect time for me to work out my adjusted priorities and think about how to move Lovefit forward, whist trying to be a role model to my son.

So I hand over to you to look at your goals, your priorities, your fears and frustrations.  It’s not too late to make big changes in 2015.

I’ll leave with you this little reminder of Lovefit’s Year 2014:
